A two-time winner of state elections, he played an active role in Punjab politics and is known to have raised issues that impacted both his constituency and the state of Punjab. Whether it was matters related to political developments, economic policies of the state or local issues, Arvind took them up and championed them with a passion. He plans to continue his work to uplift women and help skill the youth via a series of programmes under his NGO – Umeed.
